What is Knoll Quiola
Knoll Quiola is a non-existent project company combining a high end furniture company, Knoll, with the design concepts by Spanish architect Patricia Urquiola. This project was a way for the students to understand how an RFP (Request for Proposal) is formally processed.
Design Method
The design of the area needed to be easily accessible for the guests as well as easy to navigate. The flow of the exhibit is to allow guests to see what kinds of products are displayed during that day. The products can be changed out depending on how many different products there are to showcase. After the guests have had enough time to look around, they may sit by the lounge and enjoy a beverage whilst making the decision to invest in these products. Should they come to such a conclusion, the kiosks behind the reception desk allow for orders to be made and customized.
